The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has submitted to the Prime Minister a project to plant 1 billion trees in the 2021-2025 period. Specifically, 690 million trees will be planted in both urban and rural areas, and 310 million trees in concentrated forests.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development will develop and implement this project, with funding from private and integrated capital sources through national public investment programs and projects in the 2021-2025 period, ODA projects, and part of the state budget.
